COVID – Summer Camp Changes

What we are doing:

  • Camps are currently set at a maximum of 18 campers to allow for required distancing in party rooms.  As regulations and restrictions change, camp capacity is subject to change.
  • All Staff and Campers 9 and older will be Required to Wear Masks per Nevada Mandate.
  • battleBLAST:
    • Upon arrival, each camper will be given a clean individual container with nametag and any craft/coloring supplies. 
    • Laser Tag vests will be sanitized at the start of each day.  
    • Campers will choose and label a Laser Tag vest to be used for the duration of the camp day. 
    • Cleaning procedure has been enhanced and staff will regularly disinfect arcade games, tables, chairs, door handles and all commonly touched surfaces.
  • Bricks4Kidz:
    • Each child will be assigned an individual Lego kit and bagged individual perler beads to prevent cross contamination. 
    • Computers will also be sanitized after each rotation.
    • Free play will consist of individual games that accommodate social distancing.
  • Room seating has been staggered to provide 6 foot distance between all campers. Siblings will be permitted to sit together. (subject to change based on current regulations/restrictions)
  • Check In:
    • Every morning: temperature will be taken and parents will be asked wellness questions. Campers who are sick will not be permitted to enter.
    • Every Camper must have a completed 2021 Camp Registration Form.  One form can be used for siblings.  If attending multiple camps, only one form is required for the camp year.  Registration Forms can be submitted PRIOR to camp day via email to info@battleblastlv.com or at time of drop off.
  • Laser Tag:
    • Campers will vest up in either our briefing of vesting room to allow for distancing
    • Ramps in to the second level are one way up and one way down, eliminating the passing of players
    • Staff will monitor games and enforce player distancing
  • Arcade:
    • Arcade games have been rearranged to allow for distancing.
    • Tokens for campers will be prepared by staff and put into campers individual containers.
    • Arcade tickets will be counted and saved. Campers will individually pick prizes on the last day of camp. Prizes will be bagged up and sent home with camper at the end of the camp day.
    • Tokens will be available 4 tokens/$1:
      • $20 token package = $5 tokens/day
      • $40 token package = $10 tokens/day
  • Lunch:
    • Campers are welcome to bring their own snacks, lunch and beverages.
    • Hot Lunch:
      • $12 per day or $60 per week
      • Hot lunch will be prepared and individually packaged.
      • Hot lunch includes – bottled water or Powerade and packaged cookie desert.
        • Monday – 10″ individual pizza (cheese or pepperoni)
        • Tuesday – hamburger and fries
        • Wednesday – macaroni & cheese and garlic bread
        • Thursday – chicken tenders and fries
        • Friday – 10″ individual pizza (cheese or pepperoni)
